Input Devices: Notes

Vehicles are equipped with different combinations of input devices. Not all devices are used on all models. To determine the input device usage on a specific model, see appropriate wiring diagram in WIRING DIAGRAMS article.

On Motronic system 9000 series, ECM is located under left side of instrument panel.

On Trionic system 9000 series, ECM is located in engine compartment, between front and rear firewall partitions, on left side. For ECM pin and wire color identification, see WIRING DIAGRAMS article. The available input signals include:
