NOTE: 9000 series 3.0L vehicles are equipped with Motronic 5.2 system.

If no faults were found while performing BASIC TESTING , proceed with self-diagnostics. If no Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are present after entering self-diagnostics, proceed to appropriate TESTS W/O CODES article for diagnosis by symptom (i.e., ROUGH IDLE, NO START, etc.).
