Fuel System Pressure Release

WARNING: Always relieve fuel pressure before disconnecting any fuel injection-related component. DO NOT allow fuel to contact engine or electrical components.

To relieve fuel pressure, remove fuel pump fuse. On 900 Series, fuse block is located on end of instrument panel. Fuel pump fuse is No. 32. On 9000 Series, fuses are located behind panel inside the glove compartment. Fuel pump fuse is No. 14. Start engine and let run until engine stalls. Turn ignition off. Replace fuse.
