NOTE:
Trionic T5 engine management system is used on 9-3 models with direct throttle control. Models with electronic throttle control use Trionic T7 system. See TRIONIC ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

If no faults were found while performing BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES , proceed with self-diagnostics. If no diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are present after entering self-diagnostics, proceed to TROUBLE SHOOTING - NO CODES article for diagnosis by symptom (i.e., rough idle, no start, etc.).
