Checking Fluid Level: Transaxle

  1. Park vehicle on level surface. Apply hand brake. Allow engine to idle at normal operating temperature. Depress and hold brake pedal. Slowly shift selector lever from Drive to Reverse, then to Park.
  2. Check fluid level. Fluid level should be between the MIN and MAX marks on dipstick. Use hot or cold markings on dipstick, depending on transmission fluid temperature. Do not overfill.
