Acc Control Module Calibration

NOTE: Record all stored DTCs before calibrating ACC system. During calibration, all previous DTCs will be erased.

Automatic ACC control module calibration occurs when ignition has been turned on after ACC control module replacement or when power supply has been interrupted within 10 minutes of ignition being turned off. Calibration is required when a stepping motor has been replaced or position has been changed.

To manually recalibrate ACC control module, start engine and allow to idle. Simultaneously press AUTO and OFF buttons. See Figure . ACC display panel will flash one time, indicating that calibration and self-diagnostic test has started. During calibration "0" will be displayed or any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) that have been detected. Calibration and self-diagnostic test should be completed in about 30 seconds.

Up to 6 DTCs can be stored at any time. The number stored will be indicated by up to 6 fan motor speed bars. All stored DTCs are cleared at the start and while calibration and self-diagnostic test are in progress. The number of faults found will be shown on the ACC control module display.
