Convertible Top Open Operating Mode
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2001 Saab 9-3 and 2000 Saab 9-3. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
When convertible top is lowered ACC control system will operate as follows:
- AUTO operation mode is cancelled.
- Displayed temperature is replaced by current step position of air-mixing damper in steps from 1-10, where step 10 is maximum heating.
- Air-mixing damper will automatically move to closest step position (0-10) last used when the top was closed.
- Recirculated air damper moves to fresh air position.
- A/C system is turned off.
- Heated rear window/door mirrors function is turned off.
When convertible top is closed, ACC system will return to settings in effect when top was opened, provided ignition has not been turned off during that time. If ignition has been turned off, ACC system will activate AUTO mode. When convertible top is open, all manual functions can be selected, except heated rear window/door mirrors and recirculation.
