CD changer: Function

The CD changer is powered separately (+30) from fuse 9 to pin 6 in the CD changer connector.

When the audio system has been activated, the CD changer will read the "wake-up" information from the head unit on pins 5 and 11 on the bus. The CD changer is then activated (switched on).

The sound signal (line outputs) from the CD changer to the head unit is supplied via:

The CD changer functions are controlled by commands from the head unit via the bus.
