Preliminary Procedure Remove the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER TRIM PANEL INSULATOR REPLACEMENT - DRIVER SIDE
1	Cruise Control Release Switch Fastener Refer to FASTENER CAUTION . Tighten 3 Nm (27 lb in)
2	Cruise Control Release Switch Procedure Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed. Twist the cruise control release switch counterclockwise to release it from the retaining dowel. After repairs, calibrate the brake pedal position sensor. Refer to BRAKE PEDAL POSITION SENSOR CALIBRATION .
