Microswitch, bootlid/tailgate: Removing

Remove the bootlid trim. See BOOT LID TRIM .

Unplug the microswitch connector.

Remove the 4 nuts securing the molding to the bootlid.
Press in the clips securing the molding. Pull out the molding.
Remove the catch securing the microswitch using a screwdriver in the edge of the catch.
Unplug the flat pin connector to the microswitch.
