NOTE:
Using scan tool, ensure no cruise control related PCM Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are stored in PCM memory. If any DTCs are stored, diagnose engine control system as necessary. See appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE.
