Wiper/Washer Systems: Operation
The front wiper system activates immediately when switch is turned to ON position. Place front wiper switch in INT position and turn switch to INT 1 position, wipers cycle every 12 seconds. In INT 2 position, wipers cycle every 7 seconds, and in INT 3 position, every 2 seconds. In LOW position, wipers cycle at low speed. In HI position, wipers cycle at high speed. When switch is pushed and held down to MIST position, wipers cycle once. With wiper switch set in LOW position, crank engine. Wipers should stop moving and start again once ignition switch is returned to RUN position. The front and rear washer system activates when switch is in WASH position, wiper(s) and washer pump activate within one second. Wipers cycle and washer pump remains on as long as switch is activated. When switch is released, wiper(s) park after 2 or 3 cycles.
