Electronic Ignition Module: Installation

Ensure EI module gasket is correctly placed around EI module. Install EI module and EI module attachment bolts. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Connect EI module harness connector. Push connector until the lock position is felt, then pull back to confirm engagement. Install upper intake manifold. See AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS .
Connect negative battery cable. Tighten negative battery terminal bolt to specification. Reset all preset radio stations and set clock to correct time.
