Installation Procedure

Align the retaining clips on the I/P storage compartment to the tabs on the steering column filler panel.
Push the I/P storage compartment in order to secure.
Raise the I/P storage compartment back into position by squeezing in on the sides to allow the down stops to travel past the I/P filler panel.

Align the locating pins with the I/P.
Push the I/P compartment in order to secure.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the I/P compartment screws.
Tighten: Tighten the I/P compartment screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
Install the right I/P outer trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement .
