Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Saturn Ion Red Line, 2007 Saturn Ion 3, and 2007 Saturn Ion 2. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Place the NEW bushing to the tapered side of the control arm.
  2. Fig 1: Installing Control Arm Bushing

  3. Using the KM-906-B  , pull the control arm bushing through the opposite direction of the control arm. See Special Tools .
  4. Install the bushing to the same depth and orientation as noted during removal.
  5. Remove the KM-906-B  from the control arm. See Special Tools .
  6. Install the control arm. Refer to Lower Control Arm Replacement .
