Installation Procedure

Install the theft deterrent control module.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Tighten the theft deterrent control module screws.
Tighten: Tighten the screws to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
Install the ignition switch. Refer to Ignition Switch Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
Perform the vehicle theft deterrent system learn procedure. Refer to Programming Theft Deterrent System Components .
