Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 Chevrolet Malibu. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
IMPORTANT: The new wiper drive system module does not include the wiper motor nor the motor support bracket. You must install the old components to the new wiper system module.
  1. Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement .
  2. Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.

  4. Remove the fasteners attaching the wiper module to the plenum.
  5. Carefully lift the wiper module out of the plenum.

  7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the wiper motor.
  8. Disconnect the clip retaining the electrical harness to the wiper module.
  9. Remove the wiper module assembly from the vehicle.

  11. Remove the wiper motor. Refer to Wiper Motor Replacement .
