SERVICE INFORMATION
IMPORTANT:
- Failure to remove the radio fuse prior to programming/reprogramming any module using the SPS service procedure may result in an inoperative radio.
- DO NOT remove the radio fuse when programming/reprogramming the radio.
The radio may interrupt Class-2 programming and/or reprogramming of other modules on the buss.
Prior to programming/reprogramming any module using the SPS service procedure, the technician is required to remove the radio fuse.
2005-2007 Corvette
- Remove the Radio/S-Band/VICS 15-amp fuse from the I/P electrical center (passenger side) prior to SPS reprogramming.
- Program/Reprogram the appropriate module that requires service.
- Reinstall the radio fuse.
2005-2007 Uplander, Terraza, Relay and Montana SV6
- Remove the RADIO AMPLIFIER 20-amp fuse (fuse #4) in the I/P fuse block prior to SPS reprogramming.
- Program/Reprogram the appropriate module that requires service.
- Reinstall the radio fuse.
