Mirror Replacement



MIRROR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the upper trim finish panel from the front door.
2. Remove the rearview mirror sound absorber.
3. Disconnect the rearview mirror electrical connector (3), if equipped.




4. Remove the rearview mirror nuts (2).
5. Remove the rearview mirror (1) from the door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the rearview mirror (1) to the door.




2. Install the rearview mirror nuts (2).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the rear door rear view mirror nuts (2) to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

3. Connect the rearview mirror electrical connector (3), if equipped.
4. Install the rearview mirror sound absorber.
5. Install the front door upper trim finish panel.
