Installation Procedure

Install the OnStar® bracket to the rear shelf.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the OnStar® bracket screw.
Tighten: Tighten the screw to 2.5 N.m (23 lb in).
Install the CIM in the bracket.

Install the rear shelf trim. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window Shelf (Early Production) or Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window Shelf (Late Production) in Interior Trim.
