Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Saturn Ion 3, 2004 Saturn Ion 2, and 2004 Saturn Ion 1. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. With the throttle in the closed position, install the TP sensor and seal.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
    IMPORTANT: Install a new TP sensor screw when replacing the TP sensor.
  3. Install the TP sensor screw.

    Tighten:  Tighten the TP sensor screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  4. Connect the TP sensor harness connector (2).

  6. Install the air cleaner outlet resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement .
