Engine Front Cover Replacement: Notes

  1. Remove the crankcase balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Replacement .
  2. Remove the drive belt tensioner.

  3. Remove the idler pulley.

  4. Remove the engine front cover to water pump bolt.

  5. Remove the remaining engine front cover bolts.

  6. Remove the engine front cover.
  7. If the engine front cover gasket is damaged, remove the front engine mount. Refer toEngine Mount Replacement .
  8. Remove the front engine mount bracket. Refer toEngine Mount Bracket Replacement .
