Circuit/System Testing

Observe the DTCs with the scan tool.

• If there are DTCs set, other than DTC P0604, diagnose those DTCs first.
• If DTC P0604 is the only other DTC set, replace the ECM.
• If there are no other DTCs set, replace the TCM.
