Setup for Component Service/Replacement

The servicing or replacement of some components will require a setup procedure for complete repair.
If any of the following service procedures are performed, the Idle Learn Procedure must also be performed. Refer to Idle Learn Procedure in Engine Controls.
- Throttle body replacement
- Throttle body service-the throttle valve is cleaned
If any of the following theft deterrent components are replaced, the theft deterrent password learn procedure must also be performed. Refer to Programming Theft Deterrent System Components in Theft Deterrent.
- Body control module (BCM)
- Passlock(tm) sensor
