Installation Procedure

  1. Install the air compressor with the dryer (2) to the bracket.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the air compressor nuts and washers (3).

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Connect the air hose (1) to the air dryer. Ensure the air hose is fully seated into the air dryer.
  4. Install the air compressor assembly. Refer to Compressor Assembly Automatic Level Control Air Replacement .
  5. Pressurize the air suspension system after the repair has been completed. Refer to Air Suspension Pressurization .
  6. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
