Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor

  1. Install the crankshaft position sensor.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the crankshaft position sensor bolt. Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (2) to the CKP sensor.
  4. If equipped with all AWD, install the transfer case. Refer to Transfer Case Assembly Replacement (LY7) .
  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Perform the Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn procedure. Refer to Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn .
