Ignition Signal Inspection

  1. CHECK FUSE 

    Make sure that the following fuses of the NAVI control unit.

    FUSE DESCRIPTION

    Terminals Power source Fuse No.
    Connector Terminal
    M58 63 Ignition switch ON or START 12

    OK or NG 

    OK: GO TO 2.

    NG: If fuse is blown, be sure to eliminate cause of malfunction before installing new fuse. Refer to "POWER SUPPLY ROUTING CIRCUIT ".

  2. CHECK IGNITION SIGNAL 
    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Check voltage between NAVI control unit harness connector and ground.
      VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONS

      Terminals Ignition switch position
      (+)
      Connector Terminal ON OFF
      M58 63 Ground Battery voltage Approx. 0 V

    OK or NG 

    OK: Replace NAVI control unit.

    NG: Repair harness or connector.
