Section 717 (Engine Control System): ECM: Replacement

  1. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSY (See  INSTRUMENT PANEL/METER  ) 
  2. REMOVE ECM 
    1. Disconnect the 4 ECM connectors.
    2. Remove the 2 bolts, then remove the ECM.
    3. Remove the 2 screws and ECM bracket from the ECM.
    4. Remove the 2 screws and ECM bracket No. 2 from the ECM.
    5. Remove the 2 screws and ECM bracket No. 3 from the ECM.
  3. INSTALL ECM 

    Torque: 3.0 N.m (31 kgf.cm, 27 in.lbf) 

  4. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSY (See  INSTRUMENT PANEL/METER  )
