System Outline

* When the driver's door is opened (Front door courtesy switch LH : ON) while the key is still inserted in the ignition key cylinder (Unlock warning switch : ON) and the ignition switch is OFF (LOCK), the main body ECU sends signals to the combination meter through CAN communication. The meter computer responds to the signals by sounding the multi buzzer intermittently in order to warn the driver that the ignition key has not been removed.

* The buzzer stops when the ignition switch is turned ON, the driver's door is closed or the key is pulled out.
