Inspection Procedure
- CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL FUNCTION
- Check the wireless door lock control functions by operating the transmitter switch.
Result:
RESULT REFERENCEResult Proceed to Wireless door lock functions are normal but hazard warning lights answer-back does not occur A Wireless door lock functions are normal but wireless door lock buzzer answer-back does not occur B Doors cannot be locked and unlocked with transmitter C

A: Go to next step
- Check the wireless door lock control functions by operating the transmitter switch.
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (FLASHER RELAY)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Turn the tester ON.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.
- Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.
NG: Go to step 3
OK : REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU
- CHECK HAZARD WARNING LIGHT
- Check that the hazard warning lights flash continuously when the hazard warning signal switch is pressed.
OK:
Hazard warning lights flash continuously.
NG: Go TO LIGHTING SYSTEM .
OK : REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU
- Check that the hazard warning lights flash continuously when the hazard warning signal switch is pressed.
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER)
- Select the Active Test, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that the wireless buzzer operate normally.
NG: Go to step 5
OK : REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU
- INSPECT WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Always Approximately 1 kΩ NOTE:- The buzzer circuit is built into the main body ECU, not into the buzzer itself.
- When battery voltage is directly applied to the buzzer, the buzzer does not sound.
NG : REPLACE WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER (See REMOVAL )
OK: Go to next step
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER - MAIN BODY ECU AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the A29 wireless door lock buzzer connector.
- Disconnect the C45 main body ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance

NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK : REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU
