How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT:

• Use the following procedures to troubleshoot the cruise control system.
• *: Use an intelligent tester or Techstream.

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP NEXT 
2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 

   Standard voltage: 11 to 14 V 

   If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

3. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
   1. Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

   B: Go to CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM  (See CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM )

   A: Go to next step. 

4. CHECK INDICATOR 
   1. Check the indicator (See DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM  ).
5. CHECK FOR DTC* 
   1. Check for DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR  ).
   2. Clear the DTCs (CC-14).
   3. Recheck for DTCs (CC-14).
