Transmitter Battery: Replacement
- REMOVE TRANSMITTER HOUSING COVER
- Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, pry apart the transmitter housing cover.NOTE: Do not use excessive force when prying apart the housing cover.
- Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, pry apart the transmitter housing cover.
- REMOVE DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER MODULE
- Remove the door control transmitter module.
- REMOVE TRANSMITTER BATTERY
- Twist the coin in the direction of the arrow mark in the illustration, and remove the transmitter battery cover.
- Remove the battery (lithium battery: CR2016).NOTE:
- Do not push the terminals with your finger.
- Do not use excessive force when prying up the battery (lithium battery: CR2016) as this may damage the terminals.
- Do not touch the battery with wet hands. Water may cause it to rust.
- Do not touch or move any components inside the transmitter as this may interfere with its proper operation.
- INSTALL TRANSMITTER BATTERY
- Install a battery (lithium battery: CR2016) with the positive (+) side up, as shown in the illustration.NOTE:
- Make sure that the positive (+) side and the negative (-) side of the transmitter battery are correctly matched with the transmitter terminals.
- Do not bend the transmitter battery electrode during insertion.
- Keep the transmitter cover interior free of dust and oil.
- Engage the hook and install the transmitter battery cover
- Install a battery (lithium battery: CR2016) with the positive (+) side up, as shown in the illustration.
- INSTALL DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER MODULE
- Install the door control transmitter module.
- INSTALL TRANSMITTER HOUSING COVER
- Install the transmitter housing cover onto the transmitter housing case securely.
- After the installation, press any of the transmitter switches. Check that the LED illuminates.
