Transmission Control Cable: Adjustment

ADJUST TRANSMISSION CONTROL SELECT CABLE
1. Install the transmission control cable assembly on the transmission.
2. Release the lock of the cable length adjustment structure of the select cable.
  1. Slide the preventive part (slider) of lock release.
  2. Release the lock of the cable length adjustment structure to push out the lock piece from the case.
3. Install the transmission control cable assembly to the shift lever assembly.

4. Lock the cable length adjustment structure of the select cable.
  NOTE:
  - Make sure to adjust the length at the neutral shift position.
  - Push the lock piece to the depths securely.
  - Confirm whether the cable length adjustment structure is locked securely.
