System Outline

* In order to reduce the required steering force, an appropriate amount of assist current is calculated from the torque sensor signal and the vehicle speed signal from the CAN communication, and this current is sent to the motor.

* When an abnormality occurs in the system, the assist will be prohibited by shutting off the power source relay and motor relay in ECU. Additionally, the warning light in the meter will be lit up.
