    1. Inspect the EFI fuse.
      1. Disconnect the fuse.
      2. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance of the fuse.

        Standard resistance

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
EFI fuse Always Below 1 Ω
    2. Inspect the EFI relay.
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard resistance

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        A1 - C1 When battery voltage absent Below 1 Ω
A1 - A4 When battery voltage absent 10 kΩ or higher
A4 - C1 When battery voltage absent 10 kΩ or higher
        A1 - A4 Apply battery voltage between terminals A2 and A3 Below 1 Ω
        A4 - C1 Apply battery voltage between terminals A2 and A3 Below 1 Ω
        NOTE:

While using the battery for the inspection, do not bring the positive and negative tester probes too close to each other as a short circuit may occur.

    3. Inspect the cooling fan relay.

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard resistance

        Tester Connection Condition Resistance
B5 - B8 When battery voltage absent 10 kΩ or higher
When battery voltage applied to terminals B6 and B7 Below 1 Ω
        NOTE:

While using the battery for the inspection, do not bring the positive and negative tester probes too close to each other as a short circuit may occur.

    4. Inspect the IG2 relay.
