1NR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: IGNITION COIL AND SPARK PLUG: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL SPARK PLUG

(a) Using a 14 mm spark plug wrench, install the 4 spark plugs onto the cylinder head sub-assembly.

Torque : 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 IGNITION COIL

(a) Install the 4 No. 1 ignition coils onto the cylinder head cover sub-assembly with the 4 bolts.

Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.

(b) Connect the connectors of the 4 No. 1 ignition coils.

(c) Engage the clamp and install the wire harness to the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.

3. INSTALL UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY
