1NR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: ECM: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR ASSEMBLY

Removal

2. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET

(a) Disengage the 3 claws and remove the No. 1 air cleaner inlet.





3. REMOVE ECM

(a) Pull up the lever to loosen the lock and disconnect the 2 connectors from the ECM.





(b) Disengage the clamp and disconnect the wire harness from the ECU bracket.





(c) Remove the 5 bolts and the ECM from the fan shroud.

NOTICE:
If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.

4. REMOVE ECU BRACKET

(a) Remove the 2 screws and the ECU bracket from the ECM.
