Section 2 (Automatic Transaxle (Service Information)): TCM: Installation: Installation

  1. INSTALL TCM 
    1. Install the TCM to the automatic transaxle.

    2. Install and tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque: 11 N*m (115 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the connector.

      *1 Lock Lever
    4. Turn the lock lever and attach the claw to secure the connector.
  2. INSTALL BATTERY CARRIER ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 2
  3. INSTALL BATTERY TRAY 
  4. INSTALL BATTERY 
  5. INSTALL BATTERY INSULATOR 
  6. INSTALL BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 6
  7. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 3
  8. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 4
  9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .

  10. CHECK AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SYSTEM 
    NOTE:

    If automatic transaxle parts are replaced, refer to Parts Replacement Compensation Table to determine if any additional operations are necessary. For additional information, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SYSTEM .
