Installation

FA20 ENGINE CONTROL: ECM: INSTALLATION; 2013 MY FR-S [03/2012 -]

1. INSTALL ECM BRACKET

(a) Engage the 2 claws, and install a new ECM bracket to the ECM.

NOTICE:
* After attaching the ECM bracket to the ECM, do not remove the ECM bracket.
* If the ECM bracket is attached to the ECM in the incorrect direction, replace the ECM bracket with a new one.

2. INSTALL ECM

NOTICE:
When replacing the ECM, do not use ECM with different specifications.

(a) Install the ECM with the 2 nuts.

Torque : 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)

(b) Connect the 4 connectors to the ECM.

NOTICE:
Be sure to securely connect the connectors.

3. INSTALL CONTROL UNIT RELAY ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY Installation

5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH Installation

6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL Installation

7. PERFORM INITIALIZATION Installation
