Brake Actuator: Installation: Installation
- INSTALL BRAKE ACTUATOR WITH BRACKET NOTE: When installing a new brake actuator, do not remove the hole plug before connecting the brake tube. New actuators are filled with brake fluid.
- Install the actuator with bracket with the 3 nuts.
Torque: 19 N*m (194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf)
NOTE:- Tighten the 3 nuts uniformly in alphabetical order.
- Be careful not to damage the brake tubes.
- Do not drop the actuator. If dropped, replace it.
- Attach the 2 new clamps to the bracket.
- Install the actuator with bracket with the 3 nuts.
- CONNECT BRAKE LINES
- Set each brake line in the correct position on the brake actuator as shown.
HINT:
- *1: to front wheel RH
- *2: to front wheel LH
- *3: to rear wheel RH
- *4: to rear wheel LH
- *5: from master cylinder
- Using a union nut wrench, tighten each brake line.
Torque: 15 N*m (155 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf)
NOTE: Use the formula to calculate special torque values for situations where a union nut wrench is combined with a torque wrench. Refer to PRECAUTION .
- Set each brake line in the correct position on the brake actuator as shown.
- CONNECT CONNECTOR
- Connect the connector and push the lock lever downward.

- INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE

- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
- CHECK BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY WITH TECHSTREAM
