Auto Up Operation does not Fully Close Power Window (Jam Protection Function is Activated) [01/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Initialize the power window regulator motor assembly LH. Refer to INITIALIZATION [01/2014 - ] .

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Check that driver side power window move when the auto up and down function of the power window regulator master switch assembly is operated. Refer to OPERATION CHECK [05/2013 - ] .

   OK

   Driver side power window auto up and down operates normally.

NG → See step   3 

OK → INSTALL WINDOW GLASS CORRECTLY (REMOVE FOREIGN OBJECTS CAUSING IMPROPER FIT OR REPLACE PARTS) 

1. Remove the power window regulator motor assembly LH.
2. Install the window glass to the door glass run.
3. Initialize the power window regulator motor assembly LH. Refer to INITIALIZATION [01/2014 - ] .
4. Check if the power window regulator motor assembly LH operates smoothly.
5. Check that the window glass slides smoothly when sliding it up by hand.

   OK

   Window glass slides smoothly.

   HINT: 

   Make sure that the following conditions are met:

   • The window glass fits with the glass run without improper contact or deformation.
   • Foreign objects are not caught in the glass run.
   WARNING:

   Perform initialization again.
