Task

The accelerator pedal sensor converts the mechanical operation input by accelerator pedal into an electrical voltage corresponding to the accelerator pedal position.

Body

The accelerator pedal sensor consists of two Hall sensors and double detection electronics.

Function

This rotates in a printed circuit board with a stator in the two fixed Hall elements. This generates two different signal voltages, which inform the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) about the current position of the accelerator pedal.
