Only carry out the checks and adjustments on an unloaded vehicle with correctly set tire pressure.
Place adjustment device (1) in the recesses (arrows) on one side of the controller unit for distance warning function with active brake intervention (A90) and click into place on other side.
Make sure the adjustment device (1)
is securely positioned.
- Place the
frame (2), as shown, on the
adjustment device (1).
- Check the angle of the controller unit for distance warning function with active brake intervention.
The air bubble of the spirit level (1.1) must be in the center when on placed on the
adjustment device (1).
If this is not the case
↓ Place the
screwdriver (3) on the lower adjustment screw, as shown, and correct the angle as required.

Check there is a gap (arrow) between the
frame (2) and the upper area of the bumper.
If the bumper is lying on the frame (2) or covering it.
↓ Accordingly adjust the angle of the controller unit for distance warning function with active brake intervention or the position of the bumper.
The air bubble in the spirit level may deviate from the center, however it may not touch the edge of the spirit level.
Only adjust the bumper if the air bubble in the spirit level touches the edge before the gap is created (arrow) when setting the angle.
- Check the position of the
frame (2) in the opening of the bumper.
The
frame (2) must lie as parallel as possible to the opening of the bumper.
If this is not the case
↓ Place the
screwdriver (3) on the upper adjustment screw (4), as shown, and correct the position of the controller unit for distance warning function with active brake intervention (A90) accordingly.
Remove the adjustment device (1) with the
frame (2).
