Climate control, general 

Three different climate control versions are installed:

• Heating system without air conditioning (with code I78 (Heating system), only on vehicles with code CPA (Standard equipment))
• Manual air conditioning system (with code I77 (Manual air conditioning system))
• Automatic air conditioning with 1 -zone temperature control (with code I01 (Automatic air conditioning))

The heating and ventilation (with code I78 (Heating system)) and the air conditioning system (with code I77 (Manual air conditioning system)) is controlled manually by the climate control and operating unit. The automatic air conditioning with 1-zone temperature control (with code I01 (Automatic air conditioning)) is regulated and controlled by the climate control operating unit and the climate control unit.

The manual air conditioning system (with code I77 (Manual air conditioning system)) does not have any automatic temperature control. The "A/C" button (N23s2) merely switches the refrigerant circuit ON or OFF.

The automatic air conditioning with 1-zone temperature control (with code I01 (Automatic air conditioning)) is equipped with a shared temperature control for the left and right sides of the vehicle. The blower and the air distribution flaps can be operated manually or controlled automatically.
