COMPLAINT
After coding of the multifunction display with software 8056, 8059 (A4539029310), or 8060 (A4539020512), the reversing camera may no longer work.
CAUSE
multifunction display SCN coding
REMEDY
Perform the following steps:
- Program software 8052 (A4539028800) and perform SCN coding.
The reversing camera should work again
- Install the latest software 8056, 8059, or 8060
- Do NOT perform SCN coding afterwards
All software variants can be found in the XENTRY Portal:
Mercedes-Benz XENTRY Portal home screen -> "Maintenance & repair" -> "Workshop equipment" -> "Downloads & updates" -> "Software updates"
"8059" or "8060" is shown in the multifunction display if the customer software update is is performed via the smart website (www.smart.com/GPS).
The software number (A4539029310 or A4539020512) is the same regardless of the source.
