General Information

The self-diagnosis system detects and indicates faults in various inputs and outputs of electronic control. The warning light (ECS light) on the instrument panel, indicates that a fault has occurred in the system. The light emitting diode (LED) in the control unit indicates a trouble code has been set. See Figure . If such a failure of sensors should occur, the fail-safe function is provided to ensure minimal driveability.
