Throttle Body Injection (TBI)

Fuel is metered to intake system through a single fuel injector, mounted on the throttle body. An Electronic Control Module (ECM) monitors data from various sensors and controls such functions as fuel injector pulse width ("on" time), ignition timing, and emission control devices.
