Operational Test

- Disconnect wiper motor connector. Connect battery voltage to terminal No. 2 and ground terminal No. 4 of wiper motor connector. SeeFig 1 . If wiper operates at low speed, go to next step. If wiper does not operate or operates at a high speed, replace wiper motor.
- Connect battery voltage to terminal No. 3 and ground terminal No. 4 of wiper motor connector. SeeFig 1 . If wiper operates at a faster speed than in step 1), go to next step. If wiper motor does not operate or operates at same speed as in step 1), replace wiper motor.
- Connect battery voltage to terminal No. 2 and ground terminal No. 4. After operating motor at low speed, disconnect battery voltage from terminal No. 2 to stop motor. Reconnect battery to terminal No. 5 and ground terminal No. 4. Connect a jumper wire between terminals No. 1 and 2. Motor should operate then automatically stop.
