Operational Test

  1. Disconnect wiper motor connector. Connect battery voltage to terminal No. 2 and ground terminal No. 3 of wiper motor connector. SeeFig 1 . If wiper motor operates, go to next step. If wiper motor does not operate, replace wiper motor.
  2. Connect battery voltage to terminal No. 1 and ground terminal No. 3 of wiper motor connector. Using a jumper wire, connect terminals No. 2 and 4. Motor should operate. Remove jumper wire and ensure motor stops at auto-stop position after operating.
