Inhibitor Switch
Disconnect inhibitor switch harness connector. Measure resistance between terminals No. 11 and 12 at inhibitor switch. SeeFig 1 . With gear shift lever in Park and Neutral, resistance should be 10 ohms or less. With gear shift lever in any other position, resistance should be greater than 10 ohms. If resistance is not as specified, replace inhibitor switch. If resistance is as specified, inhibitor switch is okay.
